1. COMMON GENDER –
A noun that can denote both male and female gender is said to be of a common gender.
Example: animal, teacher, friend, person, parent, enemy,neighbour
servant, neighbour, singer, baby, child, lawyer, doctor, cousin, bird
2. NEUTER GENDER –
A noun that denotes a thing that is neither male nor female is said to be of a neuter gender.
Example: School, duster, chalk, mountain, leaf, fruit, pencil, paper
clock, eraser, lamp, spoon, room, mirror
3. MASCULINE GENDER –
A noun that denotes a male person or animal is said to be of the masculine gender.
Example: boy, king, bull etc.
4. FEMININE GENDER –
A noun that denotes a female person or animal is said to be of the feminine gender.
