What is christmas ?

How did the tradition of Santa Claus begin?
Since childhood, we have heard the story of Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas about how Saint Nicholas used to give help to helpless and needy people at Christmas. It is believed that Santa Claus rode on a sleigh carted by seven deer and distributed gifts to children at Christmas.
