DA for Bankers from August 2020 to October 2020

DA Bank ( Dearness Allownce As per IBA circular)  for workmen and officer Employees in banks for the month of Aug, Sep and Oct 2020 has been decided.

On the basis of CPI data All india average CPI (consumer price index) for the months of January to March 2020 (base 1960=100).

Total 775 slabs DA on basic and special allowances for the bank staff. The last quarterly payment of DA was at 761 Slabs.

Hence there is an increase in DA slabs of 14 slabs. (DA increase 1.4%)

That Means for the period of  Aug 2020 to October 2020, Bank staff is eligible for 77.5% DA which means 14 slabs (1.4%) increase over the previous quarter.

DA for bank Employees Aug 2020 to Oct 2020

The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to staff and officers for the months of Aug, Sept and October 2020 shall be 77.5 % of ‘Basic pay’.

While arriving at dearness allowance payable, decimals from third place may please be ignored.
