DA for Bankers from May 2021 to July 2021

DA Bank ( Dearness Allownce As per IBA circular)  for workmen and officer Employees in banks for the month of May, June  and July 2021 has been decided.

On the basis of CPI data All india average CPI (consumer price index) for the months of Feb to April 2021 .

Friends, There is little confusion about DA decrease by 7 slabs or 8 Slabs. We will update the same later . In AIBEA circular it’s 7 slab and in AIBOC circular it’s 8 slab decrease in DA.

Total 367 slabs DA on basic and special allowances for the bank staff. The last quarterly payment of DA was at 374 Slabs.

Hence there is an Decrease in DA slabs of 7 slabs. (DA Decrease 0.49%)

That Means for the period of May 2021 to July 2021, Bank staff is eligible for 25.69% DA which means 7 slabs( 0.49%) decrease over the previous quarter.

The rate of Dearness Allowance payable to staff and officers for the months of May, June and July 2021 shall be 25.69 % of ‘Basic pay’.

While arriving at dearness allowance payable, decimals from third place may please be ignored.
